Oh, wow. So I have not posted in over 2 weeks. Very sorry...Eliot alerted me to this fact today (well actually several days ago but I didn't read the email until today).
My cat was found (well ok, she was taken by people who then put up signs about "finding" her) nearly a week after she went missing. More on that later.
I went to Duluth this weekend to watch Michelle in Grandma's Marathon; she did very well with a time of 3:48; more on that later.
I am working a TON and am apparently now the top field manager even though I think that is weird, especially considering I ignore half the things they tell us to do to make lots of money...but everyone at work is pretty cool and I enjoy the job for the most part. More on that later.
Political stuff for eliot: you'd think this 9-11 commission showing that there was no connection between the attacks and iraq would wake some people up, but apparently the bushies out there are way too brainwashed to believe that their great leader could ever be mistaken about something. Plus, I apparently am pure evil for wanting him out of office.
another thing I've picked up on: Kerry really needs to get his image out more and start pumping out the charm, cause no one is convinced that they want him. and instead of saying, well there's no good alternative to kerry so i may as well pick him, they're saying to me, well, there's no good alternative to bush so we may as well keep him...(devil you know?)
so kerry is frustrating, and making it more so because he refuses to pick a running mate or accept the nomination; both things i know he is doing for a reason but the voters out there are thinking he's kinda wishy-washy for that, moreso because the bushie media has made him out to be that way.
(Oh by the way, today at the dinner table my soon-to-be-brother-in-law made a comment about something he saw on the "liberal media" the other day (ie 20/20)...my mom said to him shortly after, "you're on our side, right?" ("our" side? gross.))
i think that's my ride to the turf club, bye!
