Hey guys!!!!

Get out and vote! March 2nd is the caucus and from what I hear Minnesota can still make a difference, and to some people, it matters! So register for the party, and go do it.

You can find your precinct and caucus location at www.dfl.org (1754, we are both at Highland Jr High, 975 S Snelling, #W-4 P-9).

"When: Tuesday, March 2, 2004 7:00 pm (must be open at least one hour). Registration will begin at 6:30pm. The caucuses will officially begin at 7:00pm. Presidential preference balloting will end at 8:00pm."
"Who can participate in precinct caucuses?
Anyone can attend the precinct caucus to observe. To be eligible to participate in the DFL precinct caucuses, a person must satisfy the following requirements:
· The person must reside in the precinct.
· To run for county unit convention delegate or alternate, or vote on the presidential preference ballot, the person must be 18 years old and otherwise qualified to vote by November 2, 2004.
· The person must not be an active member of any other political party.
· The person must agree with the DFL principles as stated in the State DFL Constitution & Bylaws. "

It says you can sign in when you get there so I BELIEVE you don't have to do any sort of registering before the caucus.

Here's an interesting website, it asks you a bunch of questions and then tells you who you are most aligned with for a presidential candidate:

http://selectsmart.com/president

I got to it from the MN College Dems page. Apparently I am a socialist through and through, and Al Sharpton is my best buddy. After the green party, or any socialist candidate. Interesting.

Paul, I think this is the website we were looking for:

Political Compass Quiz

It is another quiz, which I did really quickly this time cause I just wanted to get to the end and see if it was the right website, but I ended up roughly where I thought I would (and where I did on the SelectSmart website, between "Left" and "Libertarian"), they marked me close to the Dalai Lama.
(Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -6.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.46)
Yeah that's right, eat it, I think that means I'm holy. Or something.

Hmmm, I don't really know anything about Milton Friedman, the only person they list in the "Libertarian Right" quadrant, and even he is not very far into it. Does anyone know him? Tell me about him.
They list the Pope as a Lefty. Interesting. (But an Authoritarian lefty, like Stalin. I guess it's probably all his talk about Catholic charity and whatnot, Catholics are technically supposed to be pretty socialist.) But ol' Georgie is the farthest right example they have on their website. Haha.

Alright enough of this.
