R's little sister has decided that she wants to become a Palestinian freedom-fighter, that the woman suicide-bomber is her new hero...but her mom swore that she wouldn't come visit her in jail, which it seems is giving her sister second thoughts on these things.

Johanna has compiled a list of things that she is afraid of (in this order, so mummies are scarier than dinosaurs):
1. Dementors
2. Mummies
3. Robots
4. Dinosaurs
5. Giant spiders

I finally got word back from Ghalib; he says everything is fine in Oman except they had very strange tides and abnormally large waves, tides were extremely high in some areas but in others they were so low that a bunch of sharks and whales got beached. Also stupid tourists went surfing. Haven't heard from B yet but that's about on par.

Tonight Paul and I are having Jude, Michelle, Pete, Ben, and Marye over. Most of us will be eating dinner, homemade pizza & salad, and then B&M are coming later and we have drinks (or will as soon as I buy them), champagne, maybe I'll find some desserts or something, and will play games. Pete wanted to go bowling but I dont think that's happening. But it will be fun and I am looking forward to it.
