I would like you all to notice the newest addition to my links section - let's all welcome Ben's blog (which I haven't read much of yet, mainly because I'm lazy and if I were to read anyone's of course it would be yours, B, as you're my main fan). Hey, Bridget, by the way, what the hell? Just because we're on Christmas break means you don't have to answer your phone, and you also refrain from calling me? Or is that just because you have a boyyyyyyfriend?!

As I was getting the address for Ben's blog, I leaned a little too hard on the thing that slides out holding the keyboard, and I broke the desk. Everything flew all over the place and the keyboard was dangling down from its cord. so now it's just sitting on my lap -- I would be able to sneak away from this except my brother is sitting in the next room and heard everything. Dammit.

Johanna and I made cookies this morning. My family had made it down to about 5 pounds of christmas cookies, so it was time to restock. Phew!

Last night Paul, Moriah and I watched Conspiracy Theory (read: the worst movie ever. not even a haha, this is so bad it's hilarious, just ouch. and it NEVER EVER ENDED!!) Also before that Paul and I went to the Mac basketball game, and I got my very own mac basketball scarf. Now I can wear it back at school and only I will know what it stands for. Except for Erin and Sarah, of course.

Yesterday I also made Paul take me to the shoe store, because on Tuesday I went to my little brother's high school and dragged him out of class (although, oddly, I walked into the middle of a class and the teacher didn't say a word, nor did he say anything when I took one of his students away...) to take him out to lunch, and then we went shoe-browsing afterwards. (Yay Cleveland Wok!!) We found this cool pair of $50 reeboks for $25, and there was only one pair in my size, but I didn't buy them right then. Therefore I made Paul take me back and get them yesterday; they are quite cool, very bright blue -- although he and I disagreed about whether they are men's or women's shoes.

I don't know what I am going to do today. I was going to do fieldwork with el Pablo, but he decided to go ahead without me. So I was going to come hang out with the kid, but she went to run errands with my mom. I will probably hang out and then all of a sudden the day will be over. Seems that's how it's going lately. Also I have to go back to school in a week. Yikes. Coming up quick.

Here's what I'm thinking:
Running 20 min/6x/wk
Weights 2-3x/wk
Also gold stars for flossing and none for whining about these things. The star system got me through nearly a whole semester last year. I lost all my star stickers somehow though. (And the system was more complicated than that. I rarely got an actual gold star, although I did get several silver ones.)

Eliot, I'm sorry, your running plan will have to be scrapped for now. I will let you know later.

Alright, I think it's finally my turn for the shower, which makes me very happy. (Why is it that when I live in a dorm with 4 showers for 21 girls, I have never had to wait for a shower (and there is an unlimited supply of scorching hot water), but when I live in a house with 2 showers for the only 4 people who shower in the mornings, I have to wait about an hour? Someone should look into this.)

Hey, who wants to have an ANZAC party when I get back to school? Too bad you have given up reading this, Erin. Or I'm sure you would jump all over the chance. It is going to be good fun. Although this time I am not supplying all the food, everyone needs to bring something. I think we will have a great time though. Yay!
Oh, and also who wants to go to New York over Presidents Day/Inaguration Day/or MLK day? I think it would be pretty cool. I dont know where we would stay yet though. Who do I know in NY?
