Oh, I forgot to mention that the other day in class my friend mentioned that he was going to New York this weekend. I commented that I had been thinking about doing that (true), and he said that he was going with the Hellenic Society (Greek Club, but they try to make themselves sound fancier, plus then the other greek-speaking non-greece-greek kids can join, like Cypriots). But he said we would go another weekend, since he lives there and we could stay at his sister's apartment and he has a car here. So that will be fun, because I have never been to New York.

Today I had to work a shift at MUG then skedaddle my ass over to Snaxa to work another, so that was of course awesome. Well really, no. Because I was really antsy and just wanted to go outside, because it was SEVENTY-ONE DEGREES OUT!!!! Hoo-ah. This weekend it is supposed to get "down to" the 30s. Erin and I are excited, because that means maybe we can go ice-skating.

I went running again today, that makes 2 days in a row, so therefore I am a healthy runner.

Plus, tonight I had Sarah and Erin over for dinner, and I made a salad with strawberries, mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, and raspberry-hazelnut vinaigrette. AND I had oatmeal for breakfast. These two things also mean that I am a healthy runner. (I won't mention what I ate in between.)

I asked my professor last night where he had gotten me an internship, and he muttered something about how he was tied up in making sure they had enough inauguration security at the moment so couldn't do anything. More reporting on the inaguration when it gets closer. I'm not going. The last one was a bad memory of loud Texans, mud, and hangovers.

There are some good news stories today though, like there is another soldier who is refusing to go back to Iraq:
Army sergeant refuses 2nd Iraq deployment

Some other ones too but now they are off the website so I can't remember them (I have a good attention span huh). But I found out that the NYTimes student subscription rate is only $2 a week for M-F delivery so I might get that. Hopefully I would read it most days, during breakfast or something, or take it with me to read. Cause I generally have some down time that I don't actually read my school stuff in. Or during work I totally would, at Snaxa. Comments?

Signing off.
