Gross. I think I'm getting some sort of stomach flu. Which has been going around here, so I'm super-excited. If I miss my classes tomorrow, I'll be pissed, because for most of them that's the only day I have them. Boo.

Yesterday I spent half the day reading a book by Netanyahu on terrorism prevention. Then I looked at the syllabus for something else and discovered that I had read the wrong edition. Great.

Then I spent a long time playing MarioKart with the girls next door. I didn't kick ass, but my long-unused MK muscles are coming back. Then I read another book on how the US has done virtually nothing helpful to prevent future terrorist attacks. Today I am reading the 9/11 commission.

Today I went to the gym (naturally) even though there was a bitterly biting cold wind which just made the trek up the slippery snow-covered mountain worse...then I ran even faster than yesterday. I'm really making some progress (even though it kinda sucked). Then I did a bunch of crunches. I'd best look good at my next check-in on the 31st. A girl from Melody is also starting to run, but she's doing the indoor track...running we think about 3 miles (because the track is not a 200 meter track and we dont really know how big it is), but she runs slow and stops a lot. We always happen to be there at the same time though so we compare notes and stretch together.

Off to analyze the use of a foreign policy tool in the case of the FARC foreign minister's arrest in Venezuela and the roles that the US and Brazil are playing in this. Or maybe I'll just go play some more MarioKart. Hmmm...
