3 important things that happened the other day (one previously mentioned, so i'll add an extra one for kicks):

Before work shift: talked to my thesis advisor about the shitload (ok, not really, but a lot) of pages i had done and was afraid that he was going to say it was crap, but he actually said he really liked it! that's awesome, score one for me.

During work shift: had a relatively long (for conversations taking place when i am at work at a coffee shop) conversation with george tenet, that was cool, and found out that his class is going to be really small next semester and talked about what i'm doing when i get out of school and etc. (did i already post this? can't check right now cause i'm at work and dont want to get the site on the history...)

After work shift: talked to another prof about job opps for the summer/after graduation. although she gave me bad news about the budget for one place i wanted to apply to, she gave me leads and personal contacts for some others, and said to start a file at the career center so she can write me a recommendation. also to bring my resume in so we can pad it up. so that's cool.

i contacted a bunch of places for work next summer and they haven't really gotten back to me yet, but at least i'm making an early effort, so that is good, and hopefully ONE will respond and want me to work for them.

well that's all for now. e ware showed up so i can leave work.
