AWESOME!! (by the way I am going to be posting a lot more this week I think because Paul is out of town at a Geography conference so i dont have someone besides Erin and Bridget to tell all my stories every day, and I know Bridget likes hearing them at least twice.)

So, my advice: make sure to make best friends with all your professors right away. Because my old Microecon professor, who taught my gigantic class freshman year (and i didn't even do very well in it! because i dont get econ!), he retired after my freshman year. BUT he comes back to campus now and again for conferences and whatnow, and I always see him when I am working and we chat, because somehow he REMEMBERS me from back then (we shared a story about Minnesota...maybe that's it...cause I don't remember ever talking in class otherwise)

Anyway, I just saw him in Red Square (where I got sunburnt yesterday, incidentally) and he asked how I was and what I was up to, and I said I was FINALLY graduating in December and was looking at getting a job with CAIR or something, and he said, if you want a recommendation just let me know!! AWESOME! I really like him and it would be so cool to get a recommendation from him. So I've got 2 professors so far who have volunteered without my even bringing it up to write recommendations, and I know of at least two others off the top of my head who would for sure, so this is really cool. And maybe I have a 2% chance more of getting a job. whoo-hoo!
