Here's my day today. It's kinda funny.
1) Get up, leave for gym. Find out that they now have also closed the OTHER road that leads to the gym for construction (constructing an astro-turf field). Decide not to bother finding an alternate route because I have too much stuff to get done.
2) stop back into snaxa to see if the girl who worked after me last shift had put my $4 in forgotten tips in my folder. nope, she stole them.
3) Find 3 extra timecards in my folder. Man that's a bunch of extra hours. Whoo-hoo!!
4) Decide that, apart from having no milk, I don't really want raisin bran for breakfast. (Tip: just because something's on sale for a dollar and super-economical because there is a lot of it doesn't mean you should actually buy it.)
5) Go to MUG to get a bagel.
6) Answer the phone at MUG: Health inspector coming!!
7) clean clean lend shoes to manager clean
8) sit on couch in galleria reading NYTimes and waiting for hour and a 1/2 for manager to get off shift so i can trade her flip-flops back.
9) go to bookstore
10) come home to shower
11) have water on, go to step in show-BEEEP BEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEEP
12) Go outside in bathrobe until fire alarm shuts off. Have people laugh and point. Especially since they are all coming out of the cafeteria after lunch, which is right next to your building.
13) Take a shower.
14) Sit down in the lounge to research Malcolm X.
15) Have floormate come into lounge and fly out in a rage because cleaning staff has carried out their threat to throw abandoned dishes in the trash.
16) Observe this and watch them leave for class.
17) (30 sec. later, after he has written an ANGRY EMAIL TO THE SUPERVISOR) See supervisor and cleaning lady come in. Watch them take dishes out of trash and set in sink. Have to tell them what room JG lives in and watch them pound on door.
18) Go to Pirtle's goodbye party for cake and lemonade.
19) On the way, observe Spiderman jumpy castle and barbeque smoke coming from Harbin patio.
20) On way back, check out said Spiderman jumpy castle and barbeque smoke.
21) Find ASK kids and Nora at jumpy castle, go in for a bouncy castle war.
22) 80 hours later, after several attempts, manage to escape.
23) Get snow cone and return home just in time to leave for group meeting.
