I just met with my dean (the nice one).

Ummm...I think I'm going home.

I told him I felt like the decision was already made, and we discussed pros and cons and everything...I said I felt like it shouldn't be such a big deal but it was. He helped me think of things to do, and he helped me think of the idea that I could do my thesis work over the semester, which will be like a course in itself, and do the readings for other courses, and that will all be good times. Keeping me busy, then when I come back to take those courses again, it will be super-easy cause everything will be done (except for those pesky papers). So here's what R and I thought of, if I can remember the list, plus that:

1) Finish incomplete class (well hopefully mostly before I even get home, otherwise top #1 priority)
(Even though the dean said he didn't care and they will give me as long as I need to finish it. Gah! He shouldn't say such things to a person such as myself!)
2) Plan for Brazil, WHICH I AM GOING TO! Today I found housing in Rio. Whoo-hoo!! My own room and everything!! In a house. So excited. Perhaps not for the whole time, but that's not important. More on that later.
3) Read lots of books. I can alternate class-books with um, 'fun'-books?
4) Paul your mom can teach me how to knit and I will make a blanket and never be cold again.
5) work out 5-6 days a week and no one will believe me when all of a sudden I once again hold the title of workout queen. WATCH OUT JOAN BENNETT!! HERE I COME!!! (But I won't need to put eyeliner on my abs, yo!)
6) Part-time work when/if I can handle it and when/if I can find a job.
7) I was thinking about a community ed class but now it seems like I'll be way busy enough!!

Oh wait, NUMBER ONE PRIORITY OVER ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING: Heal this darn brain. I'm going to draw a picture of it, it's blue and has a sad face on it. Then I will post this picture for you all to see, and when it gets better I will draw it happy and pink. (Maybe I will get my 3-year-old sister to draw it for me, she's probably better than me anyways.)

Um, so I won't be home sitting on your couch when you get back from Utah, 1754, but not long thereafter. Paul I know that wasn't quite what you meant when you said "see you soon" at the airport, and it wasn't what I had in mind either (more like mid-March), but...it's all I got right now. I don't have anything else figured out.

This doesn't really feel like it's happening...

I should probably start packing.
