God have mercy on my soul, but I can't decide whether or not I want this pope to die. I mean, he's getting kind of useless, and I really doubt he's actually making any of those decisions or statements the Vatican puts out (as it's always "The Vatican says..." not "The Pope says..."). Also he's been sainting people left and right. Come now.

And if he dies, there's always the CHANCE that we'll get somebody less conservative (although, honestly, he's going to be the POPE, you have to be conservative, i know this...but maybe a little less? i mean, like not issuing as many bulletins talking about how evil gays are? maybe switching to other societal evils besides those which continue to threaten ben and marye's marriage?) Although I think with the candidates right now there's not much chance of that.

And that's the reason that I can't decide if I want him to die, because we might get someone worse.
