Holy Smackeroos! Would you believe that assumedly without even reading my post, Bridget would call me last night? Well, you probably would, except I haven't heard from her in a while so I was rather surprised.

Paul started grad school yesterday; it sounds like it went well but on the first day of classes it's always hard to tell if the class is going to be interesting or not. But hey, cuts way down on the gas bill, taking the bus every day! Congrats. I saw my doctor this morning and told him that I got my driver's license, but no way am I driving at gas prices of $3.60. Hoooo boy.

Oh, JC - Paul and I were talking last night about whether we'd be able to see each other at all this semester, and due to class schedules and airline prices it was sounding like a dismal situation, but perhaps a short weekend sometime. But then I was kinda doubtful because I assumed that plane tickets would be astronomically priced. BUT, I just looked online for a typical weekend in October (no idea what weekend or even month I would be visiting, but...), and it's only $230 round trip! With fees and taxes and everything!! That is cheaper than my base price of $260!! (Don't ask me how I got that number. It's just like when I was driving back in the day my base price for gas was $1.29. Haha, remember those days?) It's not even on an airline that's (currently - at least I think) going bankrupt! This kicks ass. Paul, maybe I'll see you!!!

Anyway, I went to the doctor out in far-away land this morning. I hate going out there, takes sooo long and i wasn't able to get much sleep last night due to a variety of factors and having to get up way early; so I was all tired and still rather stressed and cranky from yesterday, with my mind especially blowing apart from all this arabic - forgot how hard learning a new alphabet was. Gar. Almost got it down now though. Anyway, I came back home and went for my run, and boy do I feel a ton better! I am super-wide awake and feel much better and all that shizzle. Yay. I recommend.
