So this hurricane. JC. I didn't really see anything until last night, because I have really been doing nothing but working at the Corp and then trying to unpack but being unable to because I have no storage capacity as yet. ANYWAY - JC. It's kinda surprising that I haven't seen much reaction to all this. I think a correspondent on NPR put it best that there hasn't been because people in the US simply can't imagine that a scene like this would take place IN AMERICA. 1 million refugees? What the fuck? 80% of a city underwater, thousands dead, people fleeing by walking, watching people die in the streets, medivac helicopters flying away from rescuing people because they are being shot at, open fires in the streets (even where flooded)-- this is some warring third-world country, not America! Wtf. So I don't really have anything to say about that. Cause there really isn't much to say. Jesus.
