I don't have much to update, but I haven't written in a while so I thought I'd come and do that. I've got everything just about packed up, either in my duffel bag (oof! don't know how I'm going to carry that one to the car!) or in the attic, so it's getting pretty empty. The only things I have out are things I may use in the next couple days.

So it's getting down to the wire now, I'm ready to go to school but it's of course sad to leave. I only have 3 classes picked out and I am struggling to get a fourth, as all the ones I want are full with waitlists. That is frustrating. I will have to end up taking some stupid women's studies class. Not that there is anything wrong with women's studies in general, but man I can't stand the folks that are in that program. You Scots know what I'm talking about.

This afternoon is supposed to have "strong to severe thunderstorms" with "winds, large hail, and possible tornadoes." Paul is outside today doing fieldwork, so good luck to him.

Tomorrow I am going to stop in at the office in the morning and pick up my paycheck and hopefully the shirts that Hitasha designed. I got one for me and one for Paul. They are based off of Picasso's Guernica. It looks pretty cool.
Then in the afternoon, Paul is taking off work. It is supposed to be nice out tomorrow, so I'm hoping we can go to a lake and hang out, then we are going out at night. I don't know what I'm going to do on Saturday, as I don't leave til about 5:45, so that's plenty of time to do stuff.

Last night we made peanut chicken stir-fry, which is really really good.
Paul's Recipe:
broccoli
chicken breasts
a few cloves garlic
Cook that in a wok.

Then add the sauce: 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter, 1/2 cup warm water, soy sauce, chili sauce, and brown sugar to your taste. Cook it until it's done and eat it over rice. Yummy!

(S+E, we should make this, and we can use tofu. "Veggie chicken," if you will.)

After dinner we went to the Macalester soccer team's first game. It was fun; we met Michelle there and watched. They were playing the Minnesota Inferno, which is like the minor league team for the Thunder. A kid who just graduated from Mac is on the team now.

After the game, we went to Dairy Queen because in all the cleaning with the move, I had discovered $5 in gift certificates that my sister's boyfriend had given me a while back, and they were due to expire at the end of this year (a convenient excuse to go to DQ). Yummy. We walked back to Paul's and watched the Olympics and iced and massaged his shin (his foot flexors are messed up).

So turns out I had enough stuff to write to fill up a whole lot I guess. Time for lunch.
