Last night Paul's family threw me a birthday party. :)
It was really nice -- his sisters cooked dinner for me, tomato-pesto chicken with pasta and salad (no mushrooms!) and chocolate cake for dessert. Also they gave me presents, which I hadn't expected. Paul gave me a Jayhawks CD that I had been pestering him for a while to burn for me, and his family gave me black licorice candy (his sister and i like it so she picked it out) and a twins shirt!!! It is Torii Hunter instead of Jacque Jones, but that is ok because if my fiance gets traded then Torii is next in line for my undying love.
(Also, last time I was at a game, Jacque was up to bat and it was all quiet in the metrodome waiting for the pitch, and I screamed "I LOVE YOU JACQUE!!!" ...he got a wild foul. Actually he's done that every time I scream that really loud. Maybe I shouldn't distract him anymore.)
