Forgot about the running -- everyone see the results of the NYC marathon yesterday? The winning time less than a second faster than the 2nd place, and that because the poor guy stumbled and fell right at the finish line. Dear Lord! Running your hardest for 2h9m30s just to fall at the end? Sucks. As an understatement. Like the people in the Olympics who lose because someone else knocks a hurdle in front of them.

Women's was good too it looks like; the winner - Jelena Prokopcuka of LATVIA, Martins!! - at 2:24:41; with the 2nd place getting sick on the way but still finishing at 2:24:55, impressively enough.
