I'm cleaning out my closet...trying to get rid of tons of stuff so I'm not as connected to my parents' space. Also it will help when they get kicked out of this house so that the house can get torn down, my stuff will already be sorted and packed up neatly.
Anyways, I find interesting stuff as I'm going. Some of it immediately goes in the trash (what the hell is THIS doing around 6 years later??!) and some I approach only with a vacuum hose in hand (man this closet was GROSS!), but today I found some very interesting things.
Most importantly, among the bad poetry from AP English class and the old calculus assignments (I understood this at one point?!) was...
AN ABUNDANCE OF ADVENTURES!!!!!!! Bridget, can you believe it?! I found one notebook with several pages and I thought that was amazing enough. But then I found my math notebook, which has an entire pocket full of adventures!!!! I didn't read them over, but the one I did read was a good one ('Friends 'til the bitter end,' the one where you get stuck inside the bubble and get all sticky...)
Also I FINALLLLLLY found the CDs from our germany trip...I have been looking for those for 4 years now!! I am listening to the mix right now, and then Fanti Vier will be up soon. I am SOOOO happy cause that lazy-ass Barry has never gotten around to burning me another copy (now he is fittingly being a lazy-ass in Australia and sending emails bragging about how warm it is there. Pfffft.) I think I will go find my Donauwellen recipe that my german family gave me, cause those sound good to make, don't they?
Oh, B, also I found the CDH chronicle from our senior year, and they had a few pages where they cut out all the seniors' photos and did a collage, and I didn't see my face, but I saw yours, hahaha!! You look completely shit-faced. It's awesome. That's something I can't throw out. I guess I will probably have to scan it onto this blog so that everyone knows what the other author looks like.
