I forgot to say about my airplane trip:
Before I went to the airport on Saturday I made very certain to pack my knitting needles in my SUITCASE, not my carryon. Therefore I was surprised when they pulled my bag aside. The guard starts rummaging through it (also I was very surprised when I noticed that one of the guards operating the heavy-duty X-ray machine was quite pregnant. Bad news there.) Anyways they open my bag and start going through it, and then say, "We're looking for a big ol' scissors in here." "A scissors?" I say..."huh...I didn't know I had a scissors in there" (truthfully). But then we figure out that it is in the bag with the rest of my yarn. "oh, there they are," i say, "yeah, you can take those." He looks at me and laughs and says, "Yeahhhh...that was the general idea..." Then I commented on how I was so sure to take out the needles but I completely forgot about the scissors, and he laughs again and says, "nope, the needles would have been just fine."
("Yeah, go figure," humphs another guard passing by.)
What?! Needles are permitted?! Those are so much more dangerous than my dull round-tip (and SMALL, not "big ol'") scissors! Although I suppose you could do the same damage with a needle as you could with a pen etc...except maybe you could sharpen the needle more. I don't know. I wonder who makes up these risk analyses and how they do it. Interesting.

Today...I did not do much. Nice. I hung out with Erin and Sarah a lot. We ate Chinese food (and Paul, they both want to go to the Malaysian restaurant later this week). And we read Cosmo magazines out loud to each other (courtesy of Erin's roommates) and laughed at them. Now I am waiting for laundry to finish, then falling asleep cause tomorrow I've got lots of stuff!!

Oh, and Sarah found out that I can get into Senior Week after all, but I need my dean's signature, so I have to hunt him down. It turns out they finally decided to be nice, and since I entered with this class I get to celebrate with this class.

I think earlier today I accidentally walked into my neighbor's house (well that part was on purpose) but I walked into the living room right as I think his roommate was breaking up with his girlfriend....ooops....and akward...

goodnight
