I start on Monday!!
$300-550 a week! I'm going to Slovakia!!

It's not that exciting actually except I'm excited about it right now...I'm going to the be a field manager for the Minneapolis DNC fundraising campaign. I will most likely remain excited about this for half a day. But right now, I know that even though the work will be hard and I will probably get a lot of crap from republicans in the street, it will be a good experience to put on any resume and anyways I have been thinking the last couple months that I have never been involved in a campaign and I really ought to be if I want to get into the scene ya know? AND, at least I'm not just one of the lowly people...I'm one step above them. I get a team of them! (Which means more responsibilities for me, but also more $$).

I sent in my resume this morning and they called me back about 5 hours later. Whew! They actually offered me 2 better jobs but I turned them down; one because the hours were 12-10 instead of 9-5 and one because they wanted me to move to Nashville for the summer to help manage an office there. Uhhh...no. Would've been interesting though.

OK, so $300-500 a week isn't THAT much. But that'll be around $3000-5000 for the summer, and that's pretty good, especially compared to last summer. That means I can buy a plane ticket for the NEXT summer and finally see Zuzana's country!
