This afternoon my sister Deirdre and I made lunch together and were hanging out (ok, eating leftovers for lunch) when my mom came home. After a few minutes, my mom said, "So! Have you talked to Emily since yesterday?" We said no, but Deirdre had talked to Sheila and went on about that...a while later Emily came in the door and announced her engagement (complete with the ring she picked out over a year ago).

So she finally got the guy, she is very pleased. We should probably take her out to dinner or something. I will have to talk to the sisters. They haven't told her boyfriend's parents yet though, although her boyfriend, just as she would like, quietly announced his intentions to my dad on her birthday, over a week ago.

So the whole world is getting married except Bridget and I still get to have fun in our beach huts after graduation, which I am quite looking forward to.
