Yesterday I went running outside for about 1.75 miles; not bad. The rest of the day I spent helping my friend Megan paint all the closets in her new house -- the house is kinda disgusting cause there had been no renovations for 40+ years (think of the colors and styles used in the 60s...then think of a carpeted kitchen...and all the disgustingness that might bring). So all the walls and ceilings needed to be repainted, and the carpets torn up, tiles redone, bathrooms repaired, concrete ripped up, patio and garage fixed, new windows and doors, etc etc etc etc etc. Yesterday was closets. (I am told that it was much worse than what I saw yesterday.)
Anyways we did that and then we went out to Taste of Thailand for dinner, yummy. Plus halfway through she says, you know we're getting paid for this, right? Turns out her mom wants to pay us, and I was just volunteering to help out my friend. Hey, cool - I'm not gonna complain.

Paul left yesterday for a geography conference in Ohio, at Wesleyan. But I got an email from him today, which was :) He got a free round-trip airline ticket so he can come visit me at Gtown next spring. Yay!!

Last night I hung out with Eric Fung, a Hoya, at his massive house in Mendota. That was fun...we didnt do much though, just a friend of his from high school and he and i, we watched tv and ordered food and stuff. Sounds like my life at gtown. Haha.

Today was (is) johanna day. My mom left for LA for the weekend, so I distracted her all day. We wrote out this big list of things to do, and we've done most of them so far (Bake cookies, eat cookies, eat lunch, ride bikes, go out for ice cream, play outside, play, etc....we still have to give her a bubble bath, cuddle and watch a movie, eat a good dinner, and make pinecone bird feeders. Phew!) She has only once vocally missed my mom, but she got over it pretty quickly.

Later tonight if I am able I am going to go out with B. I already told her I was going to and I just hope I don't get stuck home with Johanna....if that happens then we can just hang out here, but going out is always more fun of course.

Naptime now.
